‘Grass Rewound’ sees Part Timer get to grips with the Aaron Martin originals and transform each track perfectly with his own majestic style.

Having admired previous Part Timer releases, I was excited by the the fact that the artist would be remixing Aaron Martin material, and intrigued to hear the final outcome.

From the first listen I was completely drawn in by it’s majestic beauty, and knew straight away that this was one of those releases that will be a firm favourite in the Fluid playlist for some time to come.

What fascinates me about Part Timer’s creative technique is his ability to provide familiar folkey/acoustic structures with each composition, and yet at the same time conjures something completely original and bespoke that becomes deeply immersive from the first listen.

This is another ground breaking release from  Under The Spire, and we feel ‘Grass Rewound’ is a remix project of the highest quality! – 9/10

1. terrace (grandview)
2. climbing into water (drowned)
3. gravel scar (dried blood)
4. shot tower (hot lead)
5. breath of embers (asthmatic)
6. grass wounds (epilogue)
