Fluid Radio Gets No.5 Slot

It gives me great pleasure to announce that Fluid Radio has been voted into the Number 5 slot for Mixclouds Top 50 Cloudcasters!

We have been using the Mixcloud application over the last few months as a resource to upload artist/label mixes after they have been broadcast on the main Fluid Radio channel. This has proven to be popular for listeners that may have missed the live stream mix and wanted access to it at a later date.

Mixcloud recently gave listeners the chance to vote on what they felt was there favourite Cloudcasters on the site and I am absoloutely thrilled to see that Fluid Radio made it in at number 5.

The clue is in the name with Bristol’s Fluid Radio, as its policy is to keep the direction and growth of the station as fluid and organic as possible. Aiming to promote and play the best in experimental genres the Fluid team encourages listeners to get involved with musical suggestions, making the playlist a diverse mix encompassing ambient, modern classical, experimental acoustic, folk and abstract sounds.

I would like to take this opportuniy to thank all the artists and labels that have been involved with Fluid Radio mixes up until this date. Without you guys this would not have happened. I would also like to say a massive thank you to all Fluid Radio listeners and especially to those that took time out to vote for us. Also a big thanks to Mixcloud for making such a great application/web site.
