Frédéric D. Oberland Exclusive
A sublime abstract selection from the versatile Frédéric D. Oberland.
Includes well-known as well as rare or unreleased ambient, modern-classical, experimental, post-rock, spoken-word, field-recordings, movie soundtracks, I tried to compile this small selection of cinematic and wide-reaching tracks as a sort of remedy for dream-hungry insomniacs. Or, more modestly, to cure my own insomnias.
In the words of Mr Bukowski:
‘How to round off a tape, who knows? I hope that I haven’t bored you too much.poetry tends to bore. (…) The real artist must elsewhere, riding bicycles in the hidden hills, I don’t know… (…) Down like stairways, up like smoke…. (…) Goodbye, babies, goodbye!’
