aus is the solo project of Yasuhiko Fukuzono, who was born in Tokyo and the owner of a record label flau. Since the time of a teenager, he has been composing music for experimental film works, and enormous tape works have been produced during this period.

In 2006, Sonorapid was released by music related in N.Y. This album of modern bedroom pop, gorgeously exhibits the synchronization of beautiful electronic sounds with dazzling vocals, which intertwined by subtle beats programming, which received rave reviews from around the world for his unique and exquisite interpretation of today’s electronic music.

Since then aus has released his 4th album Lang on Japanese label Preco. This album became a huge hit throughout Japan. Ulrich Schnauss said “Lang is an amazingly musical example for how meaningful and exciting electronica records still can sound – aus combines rich in detail, sensibly constructed arrangements with wonderful melodies that evoke feelings of melancholy and optimism at the same time”.

The Lang remix album gathered many popular musicians like Ulrich Schnauss, Manual, Joshua Eustis (telefon tel aviv), Kettel, Isan, Bracken, Dosh, epic45, The Remote Viewer and State River Widening.

His first worldwide release is Curveland (2007) from Moteer. The music video of the track “With Rain” (included in the album) made by Takafumi Tsuchiya was nominated in the music video category at the world famous visual festival Aurora 2007 among BECK, Zero7 and Subtle.

After All is his 6th album from his own label flau, following the highly acclaimed Curveland.
All the tracks are brand new based on the songs he made when aus was a teenager. The album is featuring great guest artists from around the world such as Craig Tattersall (aka The Remote Viewer / The Boats), Lindsay Anderson (L’altra), Sylvain Cheauveau, Andreas Berger (glim), Mondii and more.
