Greg Haines Exclusive

This mix starts and ends with tracks of mine that most people probably haven’t heard before. The first, ‘With Everything that Breathes’, is a piano composition that was already written before the release of my first album, but wasn’t recorded until we hired the Grunewald church for the recording of my newest.

The last, entitled ‘New Orleans’, was recorded for a dance piece that I recently wrote the music for. Although the version here is the digital master, for the performance it was pressed to dubplate and played from a portable record player as people arrived and took there seats.

The rest of the tracks here are a mix of tracks by friends and by people that I wish were friends (imagine inviting Scott Walker and Ligeti over for dinner – wow, the conversation would be incredible!).

I tried to pay special attention to the structure of the mix as well as the blends, and hopefully it works like a great album would. I hope you enjoy it! – Greg
