I was very happy to be asked to contribute an exclusive mix to Fluid Radio and decided to put together a list of works by friends and colleagues that have been important in helping me grow as an artist in someway…

Selected are artists from Louisiana, North Carolina, Argentina,the United Kingdom and Japan. Also included are remixes by Carl Stone and Andrew Weathers who I commissioned to reinterpret my work especially for this Mix.

In choosing tracks I focused on areas of personal interest to me: music for piano, music with ‘alternative tunings’, minimalist ambient and melodic noise. It was also my hope to highlight several younger artists who are just getting their work out to the public. Included are works by Clem Leek, Gareth Dickson, Federico Durand, Peregrino, Duane Pitre, Nicholas Gish, Hiroki Sasajima, Andrew Weathers, Carl Stone, Anna Rose Carter + Jackson Pope as well as one unreleased track by myself.

This mix is dedicated to the victims of the Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill. – Tanner
