Wes Willenbring – Minus Something

A lot of the music I listen to the most showcases minimalism in some form or another- sometimes by using as few instruments as possible, sometimes by using as few notes as possible, and sometimes both.

As a byproduct of this the songs tend to focus more on using space creatively instead of just stuffing as much sound into it as possible (which to me seems to be a way of simply trying to hide flaws). I especially love it when a song is limited to just a few elements and can still be exceptionally expressive. Here are a few of my favorites.
