Yep we have said it before and I’m sure we’ll say it again in the not too distant future just how impressed we are with Audio Gourmets abilty to keep on delivering the goods on a consistant basis. Next up is a lovely little piece from Jon Frost’s Beginnings project…

Beginnings returns with two tracks for Audio Gourmet that capture his experimental nature and melodic guitar style. Recorded in the same sessions as the ‘Waiting On The Weather’ EP, recently released on the Rural Colours label. ‘Hazy Heat’ is an improvised jam between guitarist Jon Frost and drummer Andrew Lennard where the two musicians coax each other into building an almighty crescendo. Layers of melody and waves of distortion rush past until the noise collapses and leaves ‘Common Cold’ to play out with schewed guitar loops and laid-back strums. – Audio Gourmet
