The Audio Gourmet netlabel was set up by Harry Towell in May 2010. So far it has featured several 15 minute EPs, containing sound art that can be loosely filed somewhere under the electro acoustic, drone, ambient and field recordings genres. As the label goes from strength to strength, Harry has put together this ‘sound cast’ mix to serve as an introduction to the label, for those who have not yet discovered its content.
The mix is comprised entirely of material released on the Audio Gourmet netlabel, throughout the varying sub genres of ambient music that can be downloaded for free from this very link: www.audiogourmet.co.uk
Not every artist has been featured, due largely to the way in which the mix was constructed. But on the whole, this should serve as the ideal introduction to the label and a beautiful retrospective listening experience for those that have already been enjoying these wonderful short EPs. – Harry
