Various Artists: Coffee Break Ambient

Audio Gourmet netlabel present their very first compilation album, volume one of ‘Coffee-Break Ambient’…

For this netlabel release, we haven’t dropped the set in stone criteria of the classic 15 minute Audio Gourmet EP…we’ve kept it intact, with this 15 strong collection of minute long ambient pieces.

I’ve approached a selection of artists who have either released on the netlabel before or who are new to Audio Gourmet yet notable for their work on other labels.

The compilation flows through modern classical piano moments, ambient drone pieces to quieter interludes and field recordings. The concept of this body of work sits perfectly in line with that of the Audio Gourmet netlabel itself and is the perfect example of the fifteen minute coffee break EP.

For each artist, I have written a very short introductory blurb highlighting selected areas of their discography and a brief description of their minute-long piece on Coffee Break Ambient (Volume One). Click ‘Info’ by each track, to read more…
