Back in March, Ghédalia Tazartès played a stunning set at Cafe OTO. Here’s another all too rare chance to catch him live on December 11, again at Cafe OTO, London, where he will be playing an improvised soundtrack to the 1922 Swedish/Danish silent horror film Häxan written and directed by Benjamin Christensen – a documentary on the history of witchcraft. Tazartès will make an additional appearance at 2pm at Electra for an interview and Q&A led by Mark Harwood of Penultimate Press, discussing his work and some of the music that has influenced him. – Gianmarco Del Re
