Following the release of Canvas in 2012 and Monuments earlier this year, North Atlantic Drift continues the atmospheric sound of these records with a new release on Polar Seas Recordings. Resolven was recorded soon after the Monuments recording sessions and finds a balance between the spaciousness of Monuments and the darker, more dense moments of Canvas.
The tracks on Resolven carry on North Atlantic Drift’s use of guitar and synthesizer loops, while also featuring glockenspiel and percussion prominently to give many of the tracks a very melodic, structured Sound.
Resolven was mastered by Rafael Anton Irisarri and is available in a limited run of 50 CD’s in a hand numbered card stock booklet.
