Filmmaker Vincent Moon has launched a new website that brings together his complete filmography of more than 600 films, many of which are available to watch online. A large portion of his films are portraits of musicians from around the world, including Vietnam, Peru, Hong Kong, Ethiopia, and Russia. The above film is taken from his series “Petites Planètes”, which features musicians performing in places as diverse as Paris, Singapore, Istanbul, and Brooklyn. All his work is published under a Creative Commons licence.
Moon is currently working with Priscilla Telmon on a new project entitled HÍBRIDOS, which is described as “an exploration of the religious nowadays in the greatest spiritual place of the world, through its music, its chants, and its stories”. The project can be followed as it develops through a variety of online media.
