Chalk: time, sense and landscape is an interdisciplinary symposium of sound, geology, film, archaeology, architecture, literature, music and rainfall. Organised by artist Sebastiane Hegarty and taking place in Winchester, a city built on chalk, the event will feature contributions from Paul Whitty, Guy Sherwin, and Sally Ann McIntyre, amongst others. The symposium forms part of 10 days Winchester, a city-wide festival of exhibitions and events.
