After the acclaimed, sold-out Fort Process event a couple of years ago, Lost Property are back with another one-day festival in the evocative spaces of Newhaven Fort on the Sussex coast.
Featuring a diverse range of artists, such as Toshimaru Nakamura, Limpe Fuchs, Pierre Bastien, Sally Golding, Mariska de Groot, Carla Bozulich, and David Toop, Fort Process offers an enticing programme of performances and workshops for curious ears.
The real star of the show, however, is the fort itself, carved out of the Sussex cliffs in the 19th century to keep watch over the English Channel. The stunning views from its ramparts and the remarkable acoustic qualities of interior chambers and passageways make it a unique and fascinating venue.
Fort Process 2016 will take place on Saturday 3rd September. The fort is just two hours by train from London Victoria, and tickets are a not-unreasonable £37.80 for adults and £22 for children.
