Phaedra Ensemble is a string quartet that collaborates with musicians from many different backgrounds. Their next concert, the fifth in their VOX series, features music from iconic New York composer Meredith Monk, the UK première of John Moran’s ‘The Little Retarded Boy’ for solo dancer, and a new work for DIY electronics and lights by Vitalija Glovackyte.
The ensemble follow this up in July with a concert of music by Laurie Anderson, Shelley Parker, and Phaedra founder Jamie Hamilton.
