Canadian-American electronic musician Hollie Kenniff, best known for her work as one half of Mint Julep with her husband Keith Kenniff (Helios/Goldmund), has partnered with Oakland emotional electronics stable n5MD to release her debut solo ambient album The Gathering Dawn.
For the album, Hollie effortlessly mixes traditional ambient techniques with a thoughtfully minimalist approach. Wistfully utilizing warm glacial paced synths, blurred-out guitar, and her own nurturing vocal textures.
